Our Top-Rated Video-Streaming Services
1. Fallout (Prime Video)
The video game adaption genre continues unabated. This time, the post-apocalyptic adventure game gets a sequential story retread from the creators of Westworld and it has the goods. Expect a The Last of Us meets Silo vibe with some actual comedy (that's a compliment).
2. Late Night with the Devil (Shudder)
What would happen if a 1970s TV talk show host had an episode so off the rails it was downright evil? This explosively popular horror film gives you a hint of how bad it would be. Be happy you aren't in a live studio audience.
3. Baby Reindeer (Netflix)
Ever had an obsessed stalker? It happened to comedian Richard Gadd in real life, so he made a disturbing play about it. That play is now a TV show. The Guardian calls it a "self-loathing horror that is relentlessly bleak." Should be fun.
4. Shōgun (Hulu)
The reviews on this latest adaptation of the novel of the same name by James Clavell are stellar, with some comparing the thrills to that of the original Game of Thrones. It's still rated 99% Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes. The full series of 10 episodes recently concluded.
5. Under the Bridge (Hulu)
Fresh off her Academy Award-nominated performance in Killers of the Flower Moon, Lily Gladstone stars in this Hulu series about a Canadian police officer and a novelist sidekick investigating the disappearance of a teenage girl and the friends who may be involved.
6. Argylle
Kind of like a Romancing the Stone for the modern spy age. At first glance, Argylle looks like a spy flick with Henry Cavill trying again to go full Man from U.N.C.L.E. Instead, it's really about a book author who writes about that character so well that real spy agencies follow everything she pens.
7. The Zone of Interest (Max)
Director Jonathan Glazer's The Zone of Interest examines what it's like to live as if a genocide is not occurring right next door to you, something that is uncomfortably close to current events. It's the fictionalized account of the family of Auschwitz commandant Rudolf Höss and his family living an idyllic life in the shadow of the concentration camp.

8. Rebel Moon - Part Two: The Scargiver (Netflix)
Zack “Justice League: Snyder Cut” Synder is back with the continuation of the story he started because he couldn't make a proper Star Wars film full of slow-motion fights. Netflix handed him millions of dollars to make it happen.
9. Anyone But You (Netflix)
The rom-com never died—not on streaming services at least. But Anyone But You was actually a success at the theater, based on the onscreen chemistry and charm of stars (Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell) who act like they hate each other as they fall in love.
10. Ripley (Netflix)
The Talented Mr. Ripley gets another retelling, this time as a limited series with Andrew Scott as the man himself. In this adaptation, shot in moody black and white, the plot remains the same (Tom Ripley is sent to extricate Dickie Greenleaf from expat life in Italy) but the tone is much different than in the Anthony Minghella film.
