The trailer for Netflix's All the Light We Cannot See, a highly-awaited adaptation of Anthony Doerr's highly-acclaimed book is here.

The Pulitzer Prize-winning war novel has been created into a limited-series for the small screen, starring Aria Mia Loberti, Mark Ruffalo, Hugh Laurie, and Louis Hoffman. A sprawling story, the Netflix adaptation consists of four episodes, mainly following the tale of a French father and daughter, fleeing Nazi-occupied Paris with a coveted jewel in hand.

As Mashable's Belen Edwards writes in her review, "The four-part limited series is unable to replicate Doerr's lyrical prose, resulting instead in some fairly heavy-handed dialogue. However, it more than makes up for that shortcoming with its genuine earnestness and high-quality production, which results in an adaptation that is cinematic and sweet in equal measure."

How to watch: All the Light We Cannot See is streaming on Netflix from Nov. 2.
