University of Washington quarterback Michael Penix Jr. will reportedly meet with a handful of NFL teams following his pro day on Thursday.

Per ESPN's Brady Henderson, Penix was seen talking to representatives from the New York Giants and has plans to meet with the Atlanta Falcons, Las Vegas Raiders, Denver Broncos and Pittsburgh Steelers.

"Afterward, Penix was seen chatting with New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll and general manager Joe Schoen," Henderson wrote.

The Giants hold the No. 6 pick in the upcoming draft and are reportedly willing to trade up to select a quarterback. Daboll skipped North Carolina quarterback Drake Maye's pro day on Thursday to attend Penix's, though the Giants reportedly have a meeting scheduled with Maye.

Bleacher Report's Scouting Department considers Penix to be the No. 84 overall prospect and the No. 6 quarterback in this year's draft class. In the latest mock draft released March 5, Penix was projected to land with the Raiders at the No. 44 pick, though it seems his stock has risen since.

In his final season with the Huskies, Penix notched 4,903 passing yards, 36 touchdowns and 11 interceptions, leading Washington to the College Football Playoff title game. He was the Heisman runner-up behind LSU's Jayden Daniels, who is considered to be the No. 3 quarterback by Bleacher Report's Scouting Department.

While he might not have the same draft buzz as USC's Caleb Williams, North Carolina's Maye or Daniels, a big pro day could raise Penix's draft stock further.

Penix impressed with his speed Thursday, posting a 40-yard dash time between 4.56 and 4.59 seconds, per ESPN's Field Yates. He also notched a 36.5-inch vertical jump and a broad jump of 10 feet, 5 inches—both numbers would have been the best among quarterbacks at the NFL Scouting Combine.

Penix wasn't known for his athleticism in college, rushing for just eight yards on 35 attempts last season, but it seems he could develop his running ability in the NFL after posting impressive numbers Thursday.

Among the teams he has met with and plans to meet with, New York, Denver and Las Vegas are likely the ones looking at Penix to be an immediate starter. Pittsburgh and Atlanta both have established starters for next season in Russell Wilson and Kirk Cousins, respectively.

The Broncos have the No. 12 pick and the Raiders have the No. 13 pick. New York, Denver and Las Vegas likely won't be able to take one of the top three quarterbacks in the draft without trading up, but Penix could be a viable option as a first-round pick.
