Daniel Jeremiah NFL Mock Draft 2024: Complete Results from NFL Network Draft Expert

The 2024 NFL draft is just one day away, but NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah provided a treat for fans who cannot wait any longer and released his final first-round mock on Wednesday.

Notably, Jeremiah had six quarterbacks going in the first round with Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels and Drake Maye going in the first three picks to the Chicago Bears, Washington Commanders and New England Patriots, respectively.

It would be anything but a surprise if those three signal-callers went in those first three picks, but it is notable in this mock that no teams trade up to take one of the other quarterbacks.

That might not be the case come Thursday, as the Arizona Cardinals (Kyler Murray) and Los Angeles Chargers (Justin Herbert) are both set at the quarterback position and could look to use that as leverage and collect trade offers from teams that are looking for signal-callers.

Yet Jeremiah projected the Minnesota Vikings to wait until their 11th pick to draft J.J. McCarthy and the Las Vegas Raiders to remain patient and take Michael Penix Jr. at No. 13. What's more, he had the Denver Broncos trading down instead of up and ending up with Bo Nix at No. 22.

All three of those rookies would likely have the opportunity to compete for a starting role in such a scenario considering the Vikings (Sam Darnold), Raiders (Aidan O'Connell) and Broncos (Zach Wilson) aren't exactly lining up Patrick Mahomes as their presumed starter for the upcoming campaign.

Outside of the quarterbacks, the wide receivers figure to generate plenty of headlines come Thursday.

There may be three selected in the top-10 picks in Marvin Harrison Jr., Malik Nabers and Rome Odunze, which is exactly how Jeremiah projected things to unfold.

However, it is something of a surprise to see Odunze fall to No. 10, especially with the Chicago Bears selecting at No. 9. After all, they could look to surround Williams with plenty of offensive talent in his rookie season, and Odunze is a weapon who could develop with the rookie quarterback for years to come.

He would also provide some more long-term stability at the position, as veteran Keenan Allen is under contract for just one more season.

Odunze himself even said the Bears offense "would be explosive" if they selected him at No. 9 and paired him with Allen and DJ Moore, per Patrick Finley of the Chicago Sun-Times.

Still, Jeremiah believes the Bears will pass on that opportunity, which leaves Odunze on the Jets.
