SIFF at 50: How it’s changed, by the numbers

The Seattle International Film Festival began in 1976, with a handful of films in one theater: the Moore, then known as the Moore Egyptian. As the fest celebrates its 50th edition (founders Dan Ireland and Darryl Macdonald, for superstitious reasons, skipped the 13th edition in 1988 and went directly to 14), here’s a look at the numbers — then and now.
