Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders has released his first-ever single, which is entitled "Perfect Timing."

Sanders previously teased the song last summer, with reaction from his father, Pro Football Hall of Famer and Colorado head coach Deion Sanders.

The senior quarterback is in his second season at Colorado. He first spent two seasons at Jackson State with his father leading the program before the duo left for the Buffaloes.

Colorado went 4-8 in Sanders' first season, an improvement from 1-11 overall the year before. Sanders accounted for 3,230 passing yards and 27 passing touchdowns (three interceptions).

A 3-0 start made national waves, but Colorado then went 1-8 in Pac-12 play and finished last in the conference.

Now Colorado has moved back to its old stomping grounds in the Big 12, where Colorado hopes to improve upon the 2023 season.

Meanwhile, Sanders has an eye on the NFL. As of now, the B/R NFL Scouting Department placed him 14th to the Pittsburgh Steelers in its way-too-early NFL mock draft.
