EAST PALO ALTO – A man was critically injured in a shooting Tuesday night in East Palo Alto, police said.

The shooting was reported just after 7 p.m. on the 2300 block of Palo Verde Avenue, East Palo Alto police Cmdr. David Carson said in a news release. Officers did not find a victim at the scene but later learned a gunshot victim had arrived at an area hospital.

The victim, a 20-year-old East Palo Alto man, was listed in critical condition Wednesday, Carson said.

No arrests have been announced.
