RAVE to the state trooper who stopped to help me change a flat tire on Interstate 5, north of Burlington. He said he didn’t work the highway anymore, but he stopped to help all the same.
RANT to the people who kept walking back and forth in the press box area during a recent concert. Your constant movement was distracting and took away from the show. Is there really a need to go in and out over and over again?
RANT to McDonald International Elementary School for using a leaf blower to clean the playground, about three times a week. For months. No leaves to blow. (Occasionally some scattered bark chips from the playground.) Rain or shine. For an hour. At 7 a.m., waking us up. Polluting because it’s a gas-powered machine. Way to set a good example, Seattle Schools!
