Publisher's Description

Sandboxie is a sandbox-based isolation software for 32-bit and 64-bit Windows NT-based operating systems. It creates a sandbox-like isolated operating environment in which applications can be run or installed without permanently modifying local & mapped drives or the windows registry. An isolated virtual environment allows controlled testing of untrusted programs and web surfing.

The Plus build has a modern Qt based UI, which supports all new features that have been added since the project went open source: Snapshot Manager, Maintenance mode, Portable mode, Additional UI options, More customization options for Start/Run and Internet access restrictions, Global hotkeys, and a new firewall.

In a virtual environment, google untrusted apps and web browsing can be evaluated without risk.

Been using PLUS for over 6 months now and can say it's a keeper. David's done a lot to make SBIE relevant after it went Open Source and for that I'm very grateful. SBIE (not plus) is great too, don't get me wrong, but SBIE+ is better. Keep up the great work, David. :)

Pros: Like the new modern interface and additional functions this provides.

Cons: Size of downloadable much larger than SBIE alone.
