Maserati GranTurismo Modena, Trofeo Debut

Meet the new Maserati GranTurismo.

The new generation grand touring coupe borrows many design elements (and its new engine) from the brand's halo MC20 super sports car.

Maserati's designers put much effort into hiding and minimizing panel cut lines. The result is a cohesive, sculpted appearance.

The coupe is about 3-inches longer than before, but oddly has a half-inch shorter wheelbase.

Two gasoline powered variants will launch alongside a third full-EV spec.

The Modena and Trofeo (pictured) share their 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 with the MC20.

In the Modena, it makes 483 horsepower. The Trofeo boosts output to 542 hp.

The Trofeo also boasts a more aggressive front air dam, carbon fiber trim and lighter forged wheels.
