Some people will use and abuse you.
Possibly the very ones who should be handing out love and help and lifting you up, will hand you nothing but empty, broken promises and drag you down into a quagmire of the dysfunctional.
Shatter you until you worry that you won’t find the pieces anymore.
Through it all, look for the rays of sunshine.
The rainbows.
Those few special ones who love you for you and only you.
The ones who feed your soul instead of draining your life from your bones.
Breathe in.
Exhale.
Live life.
Enjoy each moment.
Do not allow the disappointments to overcome you.
You are more than the disappointments.
People are more than their worst moments.
And you can’t judge everyone by the actions of the few.
Peace and love, y’all. ❤️
