Israeli Whisky Wins World’s Best Single Malt At The 2023 World Whiskies Awards

Following

Two nights ago, whisky producers and industry figures from all over the world gathered at the Merchant Taylors’ Hall in London to celebrate this year’s winners of the World Whiskies Awards, organized by Whisky Magazine.

In addition to announcing the results of multiple rounds of blind judging determining the category and overall winners, the magazine also presented this year’s Icons of Whisky global awards celebrating the achievements of distilleries and individuals in the whisky industry, and admitted three new inductees to Whisky Magazine’s Hall of Fame (disclaimer: I was part of the judging panel for this year’s awards and I regularly write for Whisky Magazine).
