WB Police Lady Constable Recruitment 2023: Application edit window opens on wbpolice.gov.in

NEW DELHI: The West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB) has started the application correction process for the WB Police Lady Constable Recruitment 2023 today, May 30.
Candidates who successfully submitted their application forms are eligible to make corrections and edit their application forms from the official website at wbpolice.gov.in, The last date for making changes to the WB Police Lady Constable application form is June 22, 2023.
Earlier, the correction window was set to be opened between May 26 and June 1, 2023. Candidates can follow the step-by-step process mentioned below to edit their application forms online.

Step 3: A new window will open, enter your login credentials and submit.
Step 4: Your application form will appear on the screen, make the required corrections and submit.

The WB Police recruitment drive is being conducted to fill up a total of 1420 Lady Constable vacancies in the West Bengal Police Department. The pay scale for the post is Level-6 in the pay matrix which ranges from Rs 22,700 - Rs 58,500.
The appointment of Lady Constables will be determined through a multi-stage selection process. Initially, candidates will have to pass a Preliminary Written Test, which serves as a screening examination. This will be followed by a Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and a Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Subsequently, candidates who successfully clear these stages will proceed to the Final Written Examination and an Interview, both of which will be conducted by the WBPRB.
