Hear that haunting scuttling? It's the frantic attempt of all the crabs in Sayulita fleeing the beach because Bachelor in Paradise is coming. Actually, to quote Bill Paxton as Bill Harding in Twister, "...It's already here."

Bachelor in Paradise airs on September 28 and has a stacked cast of rejected contestants/aspiring influencers from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. Including but not limited to Brayden Bowers, Aaron Bryant, Rachel Recchia, and—of course—Blake "Will Never Stop Appearing in This Franchise" Moynes.

Speaking of ABC, the network dropped the trailer for Bachelor in Paradise and it looks absolutely chaotic and unhinged in the best way.

And if watching that has left you in the mood for more, great news: We have spoilers! A full episode-by-episode breakdown has yet to be unearthed, but Reality Steve has been doing his usual pre-season sleuthing and there are some ~details~ to go over.

The Couple Marrying on the Beach in That Trailer?

Turns out that's Kenny Braasch and Mari Pepin from Bachelor in Paradise season 7. According to Reality Steve, their appearance is likely "just a favor to production to do a 'ceremony' down there, since their real wedding is set for this upcoming October or November."

Kat Izzo and John Henry Spurlock Leave Engaged

Reality Steve says these two "definitely left the show engaged," an update from previous footage he shared of them after production wrapped up (when they were chilling in Virginia Beach on July 8).

Meanwhile, Reddit noticed Kat is moving to Asheville, North Carolina, and whomst else lives in North Carolina? That would be John Henry. Five hours away in a different town, but still.

Aaron Bryant and Eliza Isichei Leave Engaged

Reality Steve confirms these two are also engaged, which adds up considering the footage he dropped of them post-show.

Aven Jones and Kylee Russell Are Definitely Together

But they apparently aren't engaged! TBD on if they left the beach together or broke up and then reconnected after the show.

Rachel Recchia and Tanner Courtad Had a Brief Thing

But apparently it wasn't meant to be because Reality Steve reports she "ultimately self-eliminated."

Blake Moynes and Jess Girod *Also* Had a Brief Thing

But Blake also self-eliminated, per Reality Steve.

FYI: Clayton Is Not Heading to the Beach

Despite the rumors that former Bachelor Clayton Echard would once again try his shot at televised love, he's already set everyone straight and confirmed that, nope, he's not going on Bachelor in Paradise. Sorry!

A couple other notes before we go (less spoilers, more general info)....

Bachelor in Paradise Filming Started on June 7

At least according to Reality Steve, who said in a May 2023 podcast episode, "Bachelor in Paradise starts filming the same time it does every year: basically the 6th/7th of June." He added that the show will be pretty much filming the entire month, specifically "anywhere between 21 days and 24 days."

It's truly wild to think some couples will got engaged in that time span, but hey—it worked out for these two:

The Show Is Filming in Sayulita (ofc!)

Bachelor in Paradise has been based at the Playa Escondida Resort in Sayulita since season 2, and the location is pretty much iconic at this point (those throw pillows have SEEN SOME THINGS).

Again, the BiP Premiere Date Is September 28!

A date that's practically identical to last season's premiere, which was on September 27 and about three months after actual filming took place. Obviously a lot can change in three months, but that's what reunion specials are for!

We'll be updating this as more information emerges on couples in Bachelor in Paradise, but it looks like we have our three major pairings mapped out at this point—and love the fact they still appear to be together!
