What's four plus four? Eight, or rather ate, and eating is exactly what Kelly Rowland has been doing while in Paris for Fashion Week (I'm still not over her tousled bob that looked as if it was blown perfectly by the wind). She must have worn her latest style just for me because her super short pixie cut is making me nostalgic for her days as a member of Destiny's Child.
It's been a while since we've seen Rowland with hair shorter than chin-length, but that changed on September 25. She showed out with the pixie cut, which was styled by JStayReady, and an intricate mini dress that made her look like a sparkling Christmas ornament. On September 28, he shared photos, which were taken by Colombe Edmond-Mariette, of the look. Her black hair was barely an inch long and nearly slicked down to her scalp. JStayReady brushed her hair at an angle from her crown to her hairline, so it looked side-swept in certain sections.
This elaborate dress and short haircut were stunning as it was, so her makeup artist Sheika Daley kept it on the subtle side, beat-wise. Daley made sure her skin was glowing brighter than the shimmer on her dress and gave her lengthy lashes. A swipe of gloss on the lips completed the look.

Folks tend to fight to be the “Beyoncé” of their friend group, but I could never relate because I always wanted to be Kelly (no shade to Bey and Michelle, of course). And not a thing has changed as I've aged. So as the self-proclaimed Kelly of my friend group, I need to recreate this look with my own flair. In fact, I actually have a wig that looks almost identical to her pixie cut, but it's a pastel pink hue instead. I haven't worn it yet, but Rowland has inspired me to finally take the pixie unit out and dust it off.
