Welcome to October, Gemini, the month of Halloween, where a Care Bare may end up making out with someone dressed like a vampire. Your September horoscope reminded you how hot you are, knowledge that will help you avoid any cosmic drama this month, too. There are two eclipses in October, and they're both drama queens. But if you focus on the fun and frivolity October has to offer, you will survive unscathed. Early in the month, Mercury, the maestro of the zodiac, not to mention your ruling planet, moves into clever Libra on Wednesday, October 4. This transit encourages you to get lost in redecorating or some sort of creative crafting project with friends or a partner.

However you get your hands dirty, you have a great time, and the productive hang helps your relationship grow. When sweet Venus, which rules love in all forms, not just romantic, enters careful Virgo and your 4th House of Family on Sunday, October 8, you're ready to let your guard down. A person feels like home. Having feelings can be scary. And Geminis are known to be flighty. So, rather than run away, your task is to make time for this growing relationship in your busy schedule.

Growth is a major theme for you this month, Gemini, and there are gains to look forward to in your creative endeavors as well. As always, according to the gorgeous stars, this means your professional life as well. But as we live on earth, remember horoscopes are very limited in predicting capital gain.

Pluto, the ruler of the underworld, has been retrograde since May. During this time, you focused on giving, whether it was to a friend going through it or a political cause. When the transformative planet goes direct on Tuesday, October 10, your task is to learn that you can live deliciously with a side of selfishness through self-care while continuing to advocate for causes you believe in. Remember, you're the twins. There are two of you. You can find a way to do it all, so don't neglect your own mental health or well-being.

You may feel some burn-out once the fighter planet Mars enters volatile Scorpio and your 6th House of Health on Wednesday, October 11. Don't worry; astrologers don't talk about health like doctors. We're not; we're just planet-obsessed cheerleaders for your well-being. This transit just means that you're allowed to be lazy. Relax, watch TV, and make sure you take it easy.

Keep the laid-back vibes flowing as Saturday, October 14, brings a new moon and solar eclipse in Libra and your 5th House of Pleasure. This is a recipe for mind-blowing sex but also relationship-shattering fights. Avoid overconsumption and opt for sweet nights at home over all-nighters.

If you can keep the calm on the homefront, even in the face of chaotic eclipses, October just may see you leveling up a relationship. Admit it. You've been craving more intimacy. Casual can be fun, but you're ready to settle into something solid (and with ethical non-monogamy, you can enjoy both). You want that friend to be a best friend. Or maybe you're ready to move in with a partner. Whatever you're after, your wish will be considered by the stars when Juno, the “asteroid of commitment,” enters Virgo and your 4th House of Home and Family on Tuesday, October 17. Sometimes, wishes come true.

You can relax with your secrets in the hands of the stars. This allows you to chill out when the sun enters Scorpio on Monday, October 23Scorpio energy can be volatile, and as a result, even though it's Halloween and everyone is partying, you feel a little drained. So, have fun by playing with Halloween makeup or costumes, but know that it's okay to have a laid-back celebration if the idea of waiting for an overpriced cab is just too much for you. The Saturday leading up to Halloween may be slightly chaotic, as there's a full moon and lunar eclipse on Saturday, October 28. Cool as they may be, eclipses are tumultuous. You'll see people fighting dressed up in the most hilarious of costume combinations, be warned. Take it easy, and see you in November.
