MPPSC releases SET 2022 results for five additional subjects on mppsc.mp.gov.in

Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has released provisional results for five more subjects in the State Eligibility Test (SET) 2022. The results follow UGC guidelines and the MP Government's reservation policy. Out of 34 subjects, 24 results are declared, with 87% finalized as per UGC and MP Government policies. The remaining 13% results are provisional, pending a court decision. The SET exam took place on August 27, 2023, and results for other subjects will be released soon.

MP SET Result 2022: The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has announced the provisional results for five additional subjects in the State Eligibility Test (SET)-2022. The recently released subjects include Electronics, Law, Political Science, Environment Science, and Sanskrit (Traditional).
This follows the earlier release of results for subjects like History, Hindi, Performing Arts (Dance, Drama, Theatre), Mathematical Science, Physical Education, Sanskrit, Commerce, Home Science, and Library and Information Science.

Aspirants can access their results by visiting the official website of MPPSC at mppsc.mp.gov.in. The commission has released a total of 24 subjects' results so far, with the outcomes for the remaining subjects expected to be disclosed shortly.
The MP SET exam covered a total of 34 subjects, and the commission is providing subject-wise and category-wise cutoffs along with the roll numbers of successful candidates.

The results are in accordance with the latest guidelines of the World School Grant Commission and adhere to the reservation policy of the Madhya Pradesh Government. Notably, 87 per cent of the examination results have been prepared based on the new instructions of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the state government's reservation policy.

However, the results for 13 per cent of unreserved and other backward classes (non-creamy layer) have been provisionally prepared and are on hold. This segment of results will be declared after the final judicial decision regarding the ongoing court case concerning the unreserved category.

The SET-2022 exam was conducted on August 27, 2023, covering compulsory and optional subjects. The results for 19 subjects out of a total of 34 have already been declared, and the additional release includes the outcomes for Electronics, Law, Political Science, Environment Science, and Sanskrit Traditional.
The commission has implemented specific guidelines for displaying cutoff marks, considering various scenarios, such as the equality of cutoffs for different categories and the completion of the reservation quota for women.
Moreover, the results of six candidates with Unfair Means (UFM) violations have been cancelled by the commission. Candidates can access the provisional results on the MPPSC official website.
It is crucial to note that the certification process is subject to verification of original documents and fulfilment of minimum eligibility conditions. The commission will not be responsible for any misinformation provided by the candidates. The provisionally eligible candidates can download the State Eligibility Test 2022 certificate from the commission's website.
The results of candidates who were studying in Post Graduate 4th Sem/3rd Sem or Post Graduate Final Year at the time of applying are declared provisionally. Final certificates will be issued based on the conditions mentioned in the advertisement within the prescribed time period.

In the said set examination, 6 per cent of the candidates who have qualified in both subject-wise and category-wise question papers together and such candidates who have got the same marks as the last selected candidates category-wise, have been included in the merit list of the State Eligibility Test.
