Looks like The Bachelor is offering increased support for couples who come out of the show, because Joey Graziadei and Kelsey Anderson confirmed they were given access to a couples counselor once filming wrapped. And as it turns out, it made a huge difference.

During an appearance on Bachelor Nation alum Nick Viall's podcast The Viall Files, Kelsey explained, "The show provided us a couples counselor, which was really helpful. She is amazing, she helps us understand what each other are trying to say. There's some weeks where we're like, 'I don't know what we're going to talk about.' She would just help us with building things for the future, and things like that."

Joey, for his part, added, "The couples counseling was a game changer for sure." Plus, the duo is apparently fully obsessed with their counselor and even recommended her to producers for future work on the show. "The person we found was new and we've been raving about her and telling the show you need to keep her on because it did make a difference," Joey noted before further explaining that, "They gave us options and we actually tried someone, it didn't work, and then we found someone and had that first session and we were like, 'This is going to change everything.'"

The Bachelor star also recently told People that being long-distance for the past few months hasn't been "easy because we both do appreciate the physical touch," and that "the couples counseling made a huge difference for us to not only be able to find better ways to communicate but also learn how each of us communicates differently."

High five to The Bachelor for providing couples with counseling—it's been a long time coming!
