MOHALI: The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) is all set to announce the results of the 10th class today at 01:00 pm, as confirmed by Dr. Satbir Bedi, the Chairperson of the board. The declaration will take place through a physical meeting at the Chairperson's Office Committee Room, Democratic Group.
Yesterday, the notification, issued by PSEB Deputy Secretary Gurmeet Kaur, stated that the results will be announced at the PSEB Headquarters in Mohali in the afternoon.
Details of the results will be uploaded on the PSEB website on Friday morning.
This year, a significant number of students, totaling over 2.97 lakh, appeared for the examinations conducted from February 13 to March 6, 2024. Alongside the results, the board will also disclose information regarding the toppers, overall pass percentage, and details about compartment exams and scrutiny. Punjab Class 10 Results Analysis 2023
In the PSEB 10th Result 2023 analysis, the overall pass percentage stood at 97.54%. Notably, girls outshone boys, securing a pass percentage of 98.46% compared to the boys' 96.73%. A total of 2,81,327 students appeared for the exams, showcasing a substantial participation. However, despite the commendable performance, there was a slight dip of around 2 percent in the pass percentage compared to the previous year.
Pathankot district emerged as the top performer with an impressive pass percentage of 99.19%, while Barnala lagged behind with the lowest pass percentage recorded at 95.96%.
