RAVE to the parents who brought their young (and presumably violin student) child to the Seattle Symphony featuring Ray Chen performing a mesmerizing violin concerto. As he was taking his bows after the encore, dad held the child in the air, waving to Chen with an envelope in their hand. He came over, took the envelope, thanked them and left the stage. A couple of minutes later, a symphony staffer came onstage, spoke to the family and took the child backstage to meet Chen. I don’t know what the message in the envelope said, but huge rave to mom and dad for creating an unbelievable experience for their kid.

RAVE to the parks department for the redo of Don Armeni park. This is a very busy park and it was in need of an update. Hundreds of boaters will be happy.
