What can Bruins fans expect at TD Garden this postseason? Heritage Hall, the return of fan banners, and a lot of lasers.

The Bruins are introducing a new “full-ice projection show” ahead of each playoff game, which will be powered from the rafters by 12 RGB laser projectors.

The Boston Bruins Heritage Hall opened recently at TD Garden.

The Bruins announced several additions and enhancements to the fan experience at TD Garden ahead of their eighth consecutive postseason appearance, including an all-new ‘Heritage Hall,’ the return of fan banners with a special centennial theme, and a brand-new laser display to be projected on the ice before each playoff game.

Heritage Hall, what the team is calling “an educational and interactive celebration of the franchise’s rich 100-year history,” is located on the second-floor concourse. According to the Bruins, it features interactive exhibits, games, and exclusive artifacts. Fans with tickets to each Bruins’ home playoff game can purchase access to Heritage Hall, which is open for one hour prior to puck drop.

Heritage Hall is also open on non-gamedays — Monday through Sunday with the first tour starting at 9 a.m. and the last at 2:30 p.m., with tickets available online.

Returning this postseason is the large Bruins banner that fans seated in the loge section pass around the lower bowl of the Garden during pregame ceremonies. The Bruins said a special-edition banner celebrating the team’s centennial year will be introduced for the 2024 playoffs, and the team will bring in “playoff heroes of Bruins’ past to serve as fan banner captains.”

Fans passed around a large Boston Bruins banner before Game 5 their second-round playoff series in 2021.

The Bruins are also introducing a new “full-ice projection show” ahead of each playoff game, which will be powered from the rafters by 12 RGB laser projectors. It’s a collaboration with Quince Imaging, which first installed laser projecting in the NHL and NBA in 2014, and the Bruins say their 50-million pixel display will be one of the brightest in the league.

The Bruins open the 2024 playoffs against the Toronto Maple Leafs, with Game 1 at TD Garden on Saturday. Puck drop is 8 p.m.
