Former WSU guard Mullins has committed to Montana State, he shared on social media Friday, heading to the third school of his career. He played his first two seasons at Saint Mary’s.

Mullins, a Snoqualmie native, averaged 1.6 points in nine minutes last season, taking a lesser role as WSU broke its 16-year NCAA tournament drought.

BASKETBALL

• The WNBA Canada Game featuring the Storm and the Los Angeles Sparks, previously scheduled for May 5 at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, has been rescheduled to 6:30 p.m. May 4 due to the NHL playoffs’ first-round schedule.

BASEBALL

• Ryan Bliss, Michael Chavis and Brian Anderson all homered, but the Tacoma Rainiers (13-6) fell to the host Las Vegas Aviators 11-7.

• Jesus Bugarin hit a walkoff single to lift the host Spokane Indians over the Everett AquaSox.

Brock Rodden had a double and a home run for Everett (3-10).

• Aiva Arquette went 2 for 5 with a home run, two RBI and three runs scored, but visiting Washington (12-18-1, 5-11 Pac-12) fell to Utah 8-6 in the opener of a three-game series.

• Washington State (18-18, 7-12 Pac-12) scored four runs in the top of the ninth inning to take a two-run lead, but host Arizona rallied with three runs in the bottom of the inning to win 8-7.

• Seattle U swept a doubleheader with host Stephen F. Austin by scores of 12-6 and 12-4.

Jake Wagoner and Trevor Antonson each had three RBI in the nightcap for Seattle (11-27, 5-12 WAC).

SOFTBALL

• Rylee Holtorf went 2 for 3 with a home run, and Ruby Meylan struck out seven in a complete game as No. 8 Washington (29-7, 11-5 Pac-12) beat No. 20 California 8-3 in the opener of a three-game series in Berkeley, Calif.

• Mikee Morris had three of visiting Seattle U’s eight hits, but the Redhawks (18-25, 10-8 WAC) couldn’t push a run across in a 2-0 loss to California Baptist.

• Rivekka Jumagulova of Seattle U shot a 1-over-par 72 and is tied for second place, two shots behind Abilene Christian’s Ryann Honea, after the first round of the WAC championships at the Golf Club at Chaparral Pines in Payson, Ariz.

TENNIS

• The 26th-ranked Washington women (16-9, 5-5 Pac-12) beat host Washington State (10-11, 1-9) 4-0.

• The Washington men (8-13, 2-5 Pac-12) lost to visiting Arizona 4-0.

HOCKEY

• The Portland Winterhawks beat the Everett Silvertips 5-0 to complete a four-game sweep in their Western Conference semifinal series.
