Having already traded Jerry Jeudy this offseason, the Denver Broncos are receiving calls about Courtland Sutton leading up to the 2024 NFL draft.

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reported the Broncos have received "multiple inquires" about Sutton, but they don't plan to trade the veteran wide receiver.

Sutton skipped the team's voluntary offseason workouts this week as he seeks a new long-term contract.

The Broncos are in an interesting spot going into the draft. They're often mentioned as a quarterback destination, but their first selection at No. 12 overall likely keeps them out of the running for one of the top players.

If the Broncos want to move up, they don't have a lot of 2024 capital to trade. They have a total of eight picks, but only two of them are in the first three rounds.

It also wouldn't seem to be smart business to trade picks this year and potentially from 2025 for a team that has several holes on the roster beyond the quarterback position.

General manager George Paton has said he believes there are seven or eight potential starting quarterbacks in this draft class, so they could stay in their current position in the first round to get one.

Trading Sutton would presumably bring back a valuable asset the Broncos could flip to move up in the draft, but that would also leave their receiver room in pretty rough shape.

After trading Jeudy to the Cleveland Browns, the Broncos' top four wideouts are Sutton, Josh Reynolds, Marvin Mims Jr. and Tim Patrick.

Sutton, who was also rumored to be on the market leading up to the 2023 trade deadline, has two seasons with base salaries of $13 million in 2024 and $13.5 million in 2025 remaining on his current deal.

The 28-year-old Sutton led the Broncos with 772 receiving yards and caught a career-high 10 touchdowns last season.
