1. Dingwall Introduces John Taylor Signature Bass
Dingwall unveiled a limited edition Rio Dream Bass with Duran Duran’s John Taylor last year and now they’re expanding on it with a production model. The new John Taylor Signature bass follows in the footsteps of the Rio Dream with similar specs, but the company will be offering unlimited access to it as a regular model.
2. Dunlop Launches Robert Trujillo Signature Strings
Dunlop has teamed up with Metallica’s Robert Trujillo to unveil the latest in their signature series of bass strings. The set was designed with the bassist to complement his signature sound.
3. Bass of the Week: Camarota Instruments Vinta “Tiger Koi” Bass
This week we’re checking out a new signature bass by Camarota Instruments for the mighty Lorenzo Feliciati. The Vinta MkII “Tiger Koi” has an alder body with a stunning flamed redwood top that gives the beast its stripes.

Spector has revealed the second volume of their Woodstock Custom Collection featuring 12 handcrafted, one-of-a-kind basses made by the company’s master luthiers. Each bass is built in their Woodstock, New York workshop and builds upon Spector favorites while trying new things.
7. Nembrini Audio Introduces the Bass Hammer Plugin
Nembrini Audio has launched a new plugin called the Bass Hammer, which lets you sculpt your bass tone in a DAW or on your phone. Its sound, controls, and appearance are modeled after the Aguilar Tone Hammer.
8. Joe Hubbard Explains “Donna Lee” in New Instructional Course
Joe Hubbard has launched a new series of instructional courses with “Playing Through the Jazz Standards Vol. 1: Donna Lee,” which takes you on a deep dive into the Charlie Parker composition.
9. Ross Valory Releases Debut Solo Album
As Journey’s original bassist, Ross Valory has just about done it all. He’s played on chart-topping hits, toured the world, and sold millions of albums. Now, the bassist has released his solo debut album, entitled “All of the Above.”
10. Aerosmith Announces Rescheduled “Peace Out” Farewell Tour Dates
Last year, Aerosmith announced the “Peace Out” tour, which they explained would be their final outing. Frontman Steven Tyler injured his vocal cords only three shows into the run and had to cancel the rest of the dates. Now the band has announced the rescheduled shows.
