WB Madhyamik Result 2024 on 2nd May: Check passing marks, grading system and other details

West Bengal Madhyamik Result 2024: The long-awaited moment has arrived for numerous students in West Bengal as the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) is set to release the Madhyamik Pariksha (Class 10) results tomorrow, Thursday, May 2nd, 2024. In addition to the official website, students can access their West Bengal Madhyamik Result 2024 on the TOI portal by providing details such as Full Name, Email ID, Mobile Number, Date of Birth, Roll Number, and Gender, offering an alternative platform for result verification.

The announcement is scheduled for 9:00 AM via a press conference, with online availability of the results commencing at 9:45 AM. Students can check their scores conveniently on the official WBBSE website: https://wbresults.nic.in/.
Back in February, board officials had indicated that the Madhyamik results would be disclosed within three months of the examination. Notably, the WB Madhyamik exam for 2024 took place from February 2 to 12, 2024. Consequently, candidates can reasonably anticipate the results to be declared in the first week of May.
When the results are announced, students will be able to access their WBBSE Madhyamik Result 2024 via the official websites: wbresults.nic.in and wbbse.wb.gov.in. To view the scorecard, candidates will need to input their roll number and date of birth.

The West Bengal Madhyamik Pariksha 2024 passing criteria state that students must pass both the practical and theoretical exams. The exam has a total of 800 marks, and students must score at least 272 to pass. The marksheet then assigns grades to students based on the marks they received.

The West Bengal Board of School Education (WBBSE) recently announced that the online verification of marks for the Class 10 Madhyamik board exams 2024 will close on April 18. According to the notification, the marks verification process will end at 2:00 PM.

During the verification process, the candidates' answer scripts must be thoroughly examined. The Board has directed that all head examiners conduct a thorough review of the answer scripts to ensure accurate marking. This meticulous examination is designed to ensure an accurate assessment of the students' performance.
In a new addition, this year the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has launched a new online marking system for examiners. The board has directed all head examiners of WB Madhyamik exams to use this method. In addition to the traditional methods of submitting marks using ICR and OMR sheets, this online platform has been introduced to improve examination efficiency.
This year, The Times of India will host the West Bengal Board class 10th results 2024 on its dedicated portal at TimesOfIndia.com. West Bengal Board students for both class 10th will be able to check their results on the site. Here's the direct link to the WB results portal.
