Summer Vacations 2024: School holidays in AP and Telangana Set to Begin Tomorrow, Check Full Schedule Here

With temperatures soaring across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the state governments have announced summer break for schools starting tomorrow, April 24th. This news comes as a welcome relief for both students and parents as the region experiences a heatwave. The extended vacation will provide ample time for students to relax, explore their interests, and return to school feeling refreshed and ready to learn.

All schools in Andhra Pradesh, both government and private, will be closed for summer vacation from April 24 to June 11, 2024.This provides students with a well-deserved break from the hot summer months. While schools are closed, admissions can still be conducted if necessary. Meanwhile, colleges affiliated with the AP Inter board will reopen on June 1, 2024. Following this, all schools in the state will resume classes on June 12, 2024.

Due to the rising heat, Telangana schools implemented half-day schedules starting March 15th. To further address the hot weather, all schools in Telangana will be closed for summer holidays from tomorrow, April 24th, until June 11th, 2024. Both government and private schools will resume classes on June 12th. It's important to note that Telangana Intermediate colleges (1st and 2nd year) had a separate holiday schedule, running from March 30th to May 31st, and these colleges reopened on June 1st.
