Tuesday’s p.m. temperatures in D.C. appeared ideal

Although obviously a time of shining hours, Tuesday afternoon in the District suggested it might have been even more, a strong competitor in some never-ending search for meteorological perfection.

The high afternoon temperature in D.C., given by the National Weather Service as 72 degrees, exceeded by only a single degree the average high temperature here for April 23.
