Rome Odunze: Bears Would Be 'Explosive' If They Drafted Me Amid Caleb Williams Rumors

It's not very often the Chicago Bears are known for having an explosive offense, but they might just light up the scoreboard in 2024.
And Rome Odunze wouldn't mind being a part of it.
"It would be explosive," the Washington wide receiver said Wednesday of the possibility of Chicago selecting quarterback Caleb Williams with the No. 1 overall pick and him with the No. 9 overall pick, per Patrick Finley of the Chicago Sun-Times. "Honestly, there's a lot of weapons on the field in that offense."
The Bears are widely expected to take Williams with the top pick, but there remains far more uncertainty about what they will do at No. 9. If Odunze is still available, adding him to an offense that already has DJ Moore, Keenan Allen, D'Andre Swift, Cole Kmet and Gerald Everett would make Chicago all the more dangerous.
Williams, Odunze, Allen and Moore have reportedly already worked together leading up to Thursday's draft:

B/R's NFL Scouting Department ranked Odunze as the No. 6 overall player and No. 2 wide receiver in its latest big board, so he may not even last until the ninth pick.
But it's certainly intriguing to think about what the Bears offense would look like if he did.
