The race for securing admission to the esteemed Delhi University's (DU) postgraduate (PG) programs will officially kick off today, April 25, 2024. Aspiring candidates vying for the 13,500 seats available across 82 PG courses can now begin their registration process, which will remain open until May 25. Additionally, registration for three B.Tech programs comprising 120 seats, along with the five-year Law Integrated Programme, will also be initiated through the portal.
To initiate the registration process for PG programs, candidates must select their preferred college and department on the portal.
General, OBC, and EWS category students are required to pay a registration fee of Rs 250, while SC, ST, and PWBD candidates will need to pay Rs 100. Moreover, an additional fee of Rs 100 will be charged for those applying under the sports quota.
Admission Criteria and Process
Admissions to DU's PG courses for the academic session 2024-25 will be primarily based on the scores obtained in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) PG. Following the registration process, applicants will have one month to complete their registration, with the deadline set for May 25.
Similar to the previous year, admission to DU's PG courses, along with the Non-Collegiate Women's Education Board (NCWEB), will be based on CUET PG scores. The second phase of admissions for PG courses is slated to commence in June, with seat allotments following suit.
