Rant and Rave: Reader’s debit card found

RAVE to the employee at the Safeway in the Fairwood Shopping Center who found my debit card and turned it in to customer service. That made what had been a very frustrating day into a chance to feel grateful and relieved. I love that Safeway because the majority of the staff are hardworking and always friendly. Cheers to honest, helpful folks.

RANT to dogs that do their business on my plants. I recently read that there are more dogs than children in Seattle. Guess this is the trend and I can understand why. A lot less responsibility and you don’t have to send dogs to college! One thing kids have on dogs though: They go in a toilet or diaper while dogs go on people’s grass, bushes and trees. Wish they would stop going on mine. It’s killing them!
