VIDEO: Terrion Arnold’s awesome moment on draft stage in front of Lions fans

Only 13 NFL Draft prospects attended the 2024 NFL Draft in Detroit. With the Lions scheduled to pick at 29, the chances were pretty low that their selection would be live there in front of a ton of Lions fans—in fact, a record-breaking amount of fans.

But as luck would have it, the cornerbacks in this class slid in an offensive-heavy draft, and the Lions eventually could not hold back any longer. They traded up to the 24th overall selection and took Alabama cornerback Terrion Arnold, who just so happened to be one of the 13 in attendance.

That meant for the first ever draft in Detroit, fans got to see the newest Lions first-round pick take the stage in front of them, producing an awesome moment for both Arnold and the Lions fans at Campus Martius.

First, let’s look at the reaction from Arnold getting the call in the green room:

Now watch as Arnold, already on the stage, takes the mic and addresses the local Detroit fans.

“I just want to say, Detroit, y’all gotta start, man,” Arnold said. “Hey I’m home, man! I’m home! These fans are going to be crazy, man. Golly!”

Arnold then was asked how he would help the Lions get to their first Super Bowl.

“You already said it, I’ma help them win a Super Bowl,” Arnold said, as the crowd roared. “Listen to that! It’s amazing, man. We’re going to go crazy.”

What an incredible moment for a Lions franchise that continues to produce awesome moments.
