2024 NFL Draft Day 2 (Round 2-3) live open thread

The dust has settled on Day 1 of the 2024 NFL Draft, and Rounds 2 and 3 are nearly upon us.

For the Detroit Lions, this has been a particularly valuable day of the draft under general manager Brad Holmes. Over the last three drafts, the Lions have found Sam LaPorta, Brian Branch, Kerby Joseph, Alim McNeill, and Ifeatu Melifonwu on Day 2—among others.

But if the Lions are going to find another big-time player or two, they may have to maneuver their way around draft Friday night. They will enter the night with only one selection currently on the docket: their original second-round pick, 61st overall.

Will the Lions trade down to add more Day 2 and 3 assets? Will they use some of their Day 3 capital to jump back into Day 2? Will they use some of their 2025 draft picks to move around? Or are we in for a relatively quite day from Brad Holmes and company?
