RAVE to the group of volunteers who spent a recent Saturday working at the Metro bus stops along Aurora Avenue North near Oak Tree Village. They picked up trash, scrubbed down benches and enclosures, and painted over graffiti on nearby surfaces. What a difference they make in the community.

RAVE to the businesses and individuals who straighten rental scooters and line them up in an orderly fashion out of the way of pedestrians and wheelchair users. We can coexist if scooter users and nonusers work together to help clear a path for mobility and visually challenged neighbors.

RAVE to the USPS mail carrier who saw my mailbox open with the key dangling. Obviously, I spaced out. They locked it, then drove up our driveway and put the key on our front porch after ringing our doorbell. Above and beyond the call of duty and we are very grateful.
