01/8The 7 main chakras

According to different Hindu and yogic philosophies, energy chakras are believed to be centres of spiritual power inside the human body. Hinduism and Yog both have put importance on energy chakras for the special energy channelling they help with. The term ‘chakra’ comes from the Sanskrit word meaning ‘circle’, which shows the idea that energy flows through these centres.
And while there are many chakras throughout the human body, there are seven main ones, which are aligned along the spine and end at the crown of the head.

Throat chakra

Located on the throat, this chakra is responsible for looking over areas of communication. A person with a blocked throat chakra is unable to express himself or herself clearly and thus faces rejections in places where clear communication is extremely important. As it is also somewhere in the middle of Chakras, a blocked throat chakra makes the flow of energy very difficult.
To activate the throat chakra, people are encouraged to take part in activities that require more talking and communication. Discussions, debates, speeches, and even singing and expression are really helpful.
