In case you weren't already aware, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky quite literally have the cutest family of four now that they've welcomed sons RZA Athelston Mayers, 1, and Riot Rose Mayers, 9 months.

And the excited parents truly can't stop gushing about parenthood! Back in December 2022, A$AP opened up about his experience being a first-time dad with Complex and revealed, "It’s beautiful. Honestly, I think fatherhood gives me more time to do exactly what I want. I don’t have time for anything that isn’t priorities...I love it. Everything is just based around my newfound love for being a dad and a family man. It’s lit right now. I can’t even describe it."

Rihanna, for her part, talked through her feelings on parenthood during a February 2023 appearance on the Process with Nate Burleson podcast and mused, "I’m living for my son. Everything matters now. You really start to take a lot into account...Skydiving?! You really think about stuff like that—it’s not worth it. Everything is different, life before my son seems very obscure. It’s very small and cloudy, it just got better with him. It’s so much hard work but nothing is more fulfilling than that."

TL;DR: Rihanna and A$AP 🤝🏻 our fave parents ever. So without further ado, here's everything you need to know about their two bb's!

RZA Athelston Mayers, 1

Rihanna and A$AP announced they were expecting their first child together in January 2022 after the pair was photographed in Harlem and the "Diamonds" singer was spotted showing off her baby bump in truly the most fabulous pink coat we're still dreaming about.

And less than five months later, on May 13, 2022, the celebs welcomed RZA Athelston Mayers to the world! "Rihanna is doing well," a source dished to People at the time. "They are very excited to be parents. Rihanna is already a wonderful mom."

However, it would be almost a full year until people would learn the true meaning behind their first son's name, which we now know culled inspo from the Wu-Tang Clan leader of the same name, whose real moniker is Robert Fitzgerald Diggs.

Two months after the news was revealed, Diggs gushed to CNN that he was flattered by the tribute. "[It’s] a great honor to know that there’s another generation that’s not even of my own household that feels the strength and the inspiration of that name," he mused before adding, "I salute [Rihanna] and A$AP and their family. All the blessings in the world from me."

Also around RZA's one-year mark was the creation of a touching Insta post his dad dedicated to him on his first birthday alongside the caption, "'WU TANG IZ 4 DA CHUREN 🤲' HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY TO MY 1st BORN . RZA❤️"

Luckily for us, this was far from the first time the bb made a cameo on one of his parents's social media platforms. Case in point? A TikTok Rihanna shared in December 2022 of him riding in a car seat and an Instagram carousel that featured him reacting to the music video of her track "Lift Me Up" (alongside the cheeky caption, "my son when he found out his sibling is going to the Oscars and not him," ofc 😂).

Oh, and RZA also not-so-casually already made his first British Vogue debut with Rihanna and A$AP at just *checks months* 9 months old.

During a convo with the outlet, Rihanna opened up about the "connection" she witnessed between A$AP and their firstborn. "I’m just sitting on the sidelines when they’re together," she mused. "I’m literally the girl trying to get into the boys club, waiting for my turn. He is obsessed with his father. And I’m like: 'Didn’t I give birth to you? What is going on?'"

"Their connection is undeniable," the celeb added. "The second Rocky makes eye contact with him he is on fire. The whole thing they say about sons and moms, it’s a myth. Sons and fathers is crazy. I realized that the validation that you really need as a boy is from your father."

We're not crying, you are!!!

Rihanna and A$AP welcomed their second son, Riot, on August 1, 2023. According to the bb's birth certificate, he was born at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles at 7:41 a.m.

And despite Rihanna's second delivery already being a pretty Big Freakin' Deal™️, Riot had already been making headlines waaaaay before coming into the world. Enter: the 2023 Super Bowl, where the musician iconically revealed she was expecting her second child during her Halftime performance (yes, the entire internet really did collectively lose its sh*t lol).

At the time of Riot's birth, an insider told People that "Rihanna feels her family is now complete" and "it’s something she’s always wanted."

Like his older brother, Riot has shared a buncha cute moments with his parents, including a family photo shoot that was the literal definition of adorable. However, unlike RZA, the name behind Riot's moniker has yet to be revealed (that said, A$AP *did* release a track titled "RIOT (Rowdy Pipe'n)" less than two weeks before he was born, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯).

In that same aforementioned British Vogue interview prior to Riot's birth, Rihanna opened up about how she didn't have a preference when it came to her second baby's gender: "Listen, I’m down for whatever. My wish would be I would like to have more kids but whatever God wants for me, I’m here...Girl, boy. Whatever."

And in an even more recent April 2024 convo with Interview, the celeb had this to say when asked how many more children she wanted: "As many as god wants me to have...I don’t know what god wants, but I would go for more than two. I would try for my girl. But of course if it’s another boy, it’s another boy."

Here's hoping we see many more bb's in the Rihanna/A$AP household!!!
