Blanching: This one is also considered to be an effective way of removing dust, dirt, and chemicals. To blanch fruits, you have to boil some water and soak the fruit in it for 1 minute, and then transfer the fruits to iced water. This helps remove the impurities.

Vinegar: This method calls for being a little extra careful, as the pungency of vinegar might disturb the taste of fruits like berries and grapes. All you need to do is add a little vinegar to the water and then transfer the fruits to it. Let them rest for a minute or so, then wash them under the running water and use a kitchen towel to pat dry the fruits.
