Both Knicks or Sixers would be favorites against Indy. Not being able to close out Mil without Giannis and Dame playing is embarrassing. Tho Doc is obviously a top 3 coach when he has no stars. I’d love his fit in Wash. or Det. – 2:49 PM

The Bucks have submitted their first injury report for Game 6 on Thursday.
Doubtful
Giannis Antetokounmpo (left soleus strain)
Damian Lillard (right Achilles tendinitis)
Probable

That might have been the most remarkable game in Bucks history. And that isn’t hyperbole.
Nobody, and I mean nobody, on the planet expected the severely undermanned Bucks to beat the Pacers without Antetokounmpo and Lillard.
Truly an epic performance by the Bucks. – 2:34 PM

Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo, Damian Lillard ‘very close’ to returning from injury, Doc Rivers says cbssports.com/nba/news/bucks…12:35 PM

More on this storyline

Lillard, who has missed the past two games with an Achilles injury, shed the walking boot he was wearing over the weekend. He did some shooting on the court before Tuesday’s game, but Wednesday will be his first complete workout since he reaggravated the injury in Game 4, an issue he had been dealing with in the final weeks of the regular season. Antetokounmpo did not do much on the court Tuesday, according to Rivers. But on Sunday he ran on the court for the first time since he strained his left calf three weeks ago. He has not played since April 9. -via ESPN / May 1, 2024
By extending the series, the Bucks have given Antetokounmpo and Lillard a chance to play in the next game. Milwaukee coach Doc Rivers said both players are scheduled to work out on the court during the off day Wednesday. “I think they’re very, very, very close,” Rivers said. -via ESPN / May 1, 2024
