A second suspect was arrested Wednesday almost eight months after a mass shooting in Boston injured five, including two children, police said.
Micah Ennic, 25 of Boston, was arrested on May 1 in the area of 33 Ellingwood St., the Boston Police Department said in a press release.
Ennic was wanted for five counts of armed assault to murder, unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, unlawful possession of a large capacity feeding device, unlawful possession of a machine gun, and five counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
The shooting occurred on the evening of Sept. 17, 2023, at 50 Ames St. in Dorchester. Five people were injured, including two children and three adults, during what police said appeared to be a family gathering.
One of the injured children sustained life-threatening injuries, police said at the name.
The first suspect, 25-year-old Gianni Williams of Dorchester, was arrested on Oct. 2 in Lynn. Williams was wanted on similar charges to Ennic.
Ennic is expected to be arraigned in Suffolk Superior Court.
