One is enough
San Diego scored in the 98th minute to get its first-ever win against Seattle in March. It’s the latest the Reign have conceded a goal. The Wave will see if they also can get their first win at Lumen. Seattle is 4-0-2 against San Diego on its own turf.
Just win
The Reign are on a club-worst five-game losing streak. The lone win was 1-0 against the Washington Spirit in the season opener in March.
Injury Update
Reign coach Laura Harvey said Canadian international Jordyn Huitema has returned to training after suffering a back injury while with her national team. Seattle keeper Claudia Dickey could return to training next week after suffering an undisclosed injury during a loss to Bay FC.
Neither will be available for Friday’s match, along with Quinn. The midfielder suffered a knee injury in the road loss against North Carolina last week. Harvey said it wasn’t as bad as it looked originally.
