Everything In The Massive New ‘Star Wars’ X ‘Fortnite’ Crossover Event

Following

To celebrate May The Fourth, Epic Games is bringing Star Wars to just about every aspect of Fortnite, from the main Battle Royale game to its LEGO survival game and more.

Watch the trailer to get a good overview of everything new in the game:

In the main Battle Royale section of Fortnite, you’ll find new outfits including Dagobah Luke, Lando Calrissian and the AWR Trooper, all of which will translate to LEGO outfits as well.

You’ll also be able to rescue Chewbacca from random Imperial Roadblocks. If you do, the galaxy’s best Wookie will give you his Bowcaster and join you as an NPC.

You’ll also face some familiar enemies including Stormtroopers and Darth Vader himself, who you can defeat to claim the Sith lord’s red lightsaber.

E-11 Blasters are also available to pick up from chests or fallen Stormtroopers.

10 Star Wars Quests will also be available during the event. Completing five gets you a Battle Pass level up, while completing all ten will earn you this AWR Pack Back Bling:

These quests will release in two phases, the first this weekend and the second at 9am ET on May 7th. The Star Wars event will come to an end on Tuesday May 14th at 9am ET / 6am PT.

LEGO Fortnite X Star Wars

A bunch of new Star Wars content is coming to LEGO Fortnite.

The main feature is the ability to build a Rebel Village which you can level up to Level 10. Alongside a bunch of new buildings and decor, you’ll be able to craft and wield a new arsenal including Lightsabers, Bowcasters, DL-44 Blasters, E-11 Blasters, and Thermal Detonators.

The Rebel Village will become a permanent fixture in the game, sticking around after the main event is over.

A new Rebel Adventure LEGO Battle Pass is also available with a bunch of unlockables including blueprints for buildings like the Mos Eisley Marketplace.

Here’s the trailer:

Beyond the Battle Royale and LEGO offerings, Star Wars is headed to both Fortnite Festival, where you’ll be able to jam out on the Mos Eisley Cantina stage and unlock the Seven-string Hallisket Guitar, as well as Rocket Racing, where you can complete quests to unlock Star Wars-themed decals for your cars.

And, of course, a ton of Star Wars skins from previous events will be available in the Item Shop, including:

Original Trilogy era:

  • Boba Fett
  • Han Solo
  • Imperial Stormtrooper
  • Leia Organa

New Trilogy era:

  • Finn
  • Kylo Ren
  • Rey
  • Sith Trooper
  • Zorii Bliss

You’ll also be able to purchase the Beskar Bundle, which includes this Beskar Steel car, which you can use in either Battle Royale or Rocket Racing:

This is basically The Mandalorian’s version of the Batmobile.

And that’s all folks! See you on the island, and May the Fourth be with you!
