You don't need to know the difference between a three-card and a Celtic cross spread to get the most out of a tarot card reading. All you need: your Sun sign! Here's what I do: Shuffle my tarot deck and pull out the cards in order from Aries to Pisces, plus one general card for everyone so that you can get specific advice around your personality. Let’s go!

A GENERAL CARD FOR EVERYONE: QUEEN OF WANDS

Margie Rischiotto+Rider-Waite

Step up and create a purpose for yourself this week, even if it’s a little forced. Choose something useful, interesting, relevant, and motivating that will get you moving. Nothing is too out of reach, but it must be at least a step or two out of your comfort zone. Zoom in on travel, education, creativity, or health. The Queen of Wands walks with us all this week, inspiring us to live well.

ARIES: SIX OF CUPS

Someone from your past is calling to you—maybe emotionally, maybe literally. This is not an unwelcome return; this is a person you've missed and would love to catch up with. So, go ahead! In fact, if reading this makes you think of someone, why not make the first move? Affection can be restored, old memories can warm you, the way things were could be the way things are… but better, because you both value what you had and realize it was special.

TAURUS: THE FOOL

The Fool is a powerful card, and it's a great boost for the spring season. As the first card of the whole tarot deck, it's all about fresh starts and new beginnings. Uranus rules this card, so there’s potential for travel, technology, inventions, and surprises. Don’t forget: No one else has to live your life but you. Do what you want, Taurus. It’s time.

GEMINI: JUSTICE

The tables are turning. Justice is coming. It’s true that the wheels of justice turn very slowly… but they do turn. They get there in the end. You’ve felt wronged, treated poorly, or lied to about something, and now the truth will emerge. Best of all, everyone will owe you a big apology! Now, be magnanimous and act with grace. Enjoy the vindication, but don’t get vindictive, okay?

CANCER: THREE OF WANDS

Play fast and loose this week, Cancer! Be spontaneous. Don’t overthink or over-plan; make sure there is wriggle room for detours and unexpected invitations. The universe has some surprises lined up for you, and it would be such a shame to miss out because you were too busy! Things that are at fledgling stage might suddenly take off and fly. Be ready for the unexpected. Most importantly, have fun!

LEO: KING OF PENTACLES

Fame and fortune are exactly what you daydream about, Leo, and I am happy to report that there are opportunities ahead this week to lay the foundation. Be bold, proud, confident, proactive, and dynamic. Think about your wildest career goal or dream wealth situation and make moves in its direction. Invest in yourself. Play a hand that sets up a long game. Think like the boss you are.

VIRGO: THE HERMIT

The Hermit is your sign’s tarot card, so this week is all about you. Spend time in peaceful and purposeful solitude. Set a research goal. Seek enlightenment through study or meditation. Explore options for your future. Take a class. Start a solo hobby. Be alone, but be useful. Do something that serves your interests, and the week will prove to be very fulfilling and rewarding. Everything starts in the mind.

LIBRA: NINE OF CUPS

Make a wish, Libra! Life can be as beautiful as you’d like it to be. The Nine of Cups is like a fairy godmother, ready to wave her wand and grant you whatever you want—as long as you don’t procrastinate. Clarify your heart’s desire. Write down everything you want, then pick the one thing that would make your life better right now. Then, make a move towards it. Let the universe know what you want.

SCORPIO: DEATH

Margie Rischiotto+Rider-Waite

Death is your sign’s tarot card, and it represents your unique regenerative quality. You can burn to ashes and rise again like the mythical phoenix. You are resilient and strong. You're able to turn disaster into success. You can transform and come back even stronger. Something is changing for you right now. Something is leaving or ending, and that’s okay. You’re preparing to replace it or to make space for a new chapter. Think: Transformation. Time to unlock the next level!

SAGITTARIUS: PAGE OF PENTACLES

The Page of Pentacles is the tarot’s eternal student. Education is very important to you, especially informal and self-led learning. Embark on a phase of study this week, whether it's theoretical, formal, practical, creative, career-focused, or just fun and interesting. Fill your mind with stimuli. Take on new skills. Think about what you want to know, do, or understand right now. Then, go seek it out. What you learn today can set you up for success tomorrow.

CAPRICORN: EIGHT OF WANDS

Communication is your mission this week, Cap. Networking. Socializing. Brushing up your professional profile. Identifying the movers and shakers you’d like to connect with. This week, reach out to old friends, former coworkers, or long-lost family and get together. Most opportunities arise via the people you know and talk to. Be a part of the exchange of ideas and feel connected. Open yourself up to new opportunity and who knows what could happen.

AQUARIUS: THE SUN

the sun tarot card
Margie Rischiotto+Rider/Waite

The Sun is the tarot’s most positive card, so its arrival means that this is going to be a great week for you. Think: Success, joy, love, passion, travel, prosperity, wealth. Anything is possible if you’re prepared to put yourself out there and ask for what you want. Nothing comes from hanging back and waiting to be seen. Get in there and make things happen! Pitch, ask, apply, demand, challenge, and prove yourself. This week is like a portal: Once you step through it, it will whisk you to a new lifestyle and pathway.

PISCES: NINE OF SWORDS

Margie Rischiotto+Rider/Waite

Aw, Pisces, what’s happening? What is worrying you? The Nine of Swords appears when you’re bottling something up. You're keeping an anxiety stuffed down in your psyche, where it grows heavier every day. Release it, Pisces. Talk to a trusted friend, write it all down, or say it out loud to the mirror. Get this fear into words and express it fully. That takes away its power over you and puts it into perspective. Then, you can deal with it. Don’t worry any longer—it's time for action.
