The Seattle Sounders signed goalkeeper Andrew Thomas to a new three-year contract, the team announced Monday.

The deal will keep Thomas in Seattle through the 2027 season and also includes team options for 2028 and 2029.

“We are pleased to sign Andrew to a new contract and ensure he stays with Sounders FC for the foreseeable future,” general manager and chief soccer officer Craig Waibel said in a press release. “Andrew has impressed in his time with the club thus far and we look forward to continuing his development.”

The 25-year-old has made nearly 50 professional appearances across all competitions, including five MLS games with the Sounders this season.

Prior to joining the Sounders, Thomas was a three-time All-Pac-12 first-team selection at Stanford.
