Skeptical the NBA will suspend Jamal Murray from a playoff game for throwing the heat pad onto the floor. But that Reggie Jackson injury–which looked pretty bad–looms large if they do. – 12:13 AM

The Reggie Jackson game. . like we all expected.
Huge minutes for him in the 1st quarter and a big reason that the Nuggets have a 25-23 lead after the 1st quarter after being down big. – 7:37 PM

The Wolves went up 18-4, causing DEN to burn a second 1Q timeout. Regrouping worked, as the Nuggets are on an 11-0 run, punctuated by that Reggie Jackson steal and alley-oop to MPJ. Now MIN calls timeout. – 7:30 PM

Nuggets settle down when Reggie Jackson and Justin Holiday come into the game, over Christian Braun and Peyton Watson which is interesting. – 7:27 PM

More on this storyline

Denver’s Game 2 offense needs to be just as physical as Minnesota’s defense. The Nuggets didn’t play with enough force, but they also played sloppy basketball without enough precision. The Timberwolves might be the best defensive team in the league, but the Nuggets might have the best offense. “This is what the playoffs are about,” Jackson said. “It’s fun. It’s fun to look yourself in the mirror and see how you can get better. It would be great to win each and every game but sweeping the playoffs probably wouldn’t be as fun when you look back at the memories. I look forward to the task. -via The Athletic / May 6, 2024
Dane Moore: Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Reggie Jackson are good to go, says Michael Malone. Malone says Jamal Murray needs to go through his pregame routine and will be a game-time decision. -via Twitter @DaneMooreNBA / May 4, 2024
