Particularly, I really like this topic because for me, it’s the result of so many significant changes in my life.
I deeply appreciate the word and, even more, its meaning.
However, I didn’t come here to tell stories, but rather to list the empowerments that GRATITUDE can bring to our lives.
So, let’s get to them…
In the beginning, when you’re not yet accustomed to the practice, everything seems a bit strange and senseless. That’s because we’re always operating on autopilot, waking up day after day and going about our activities like robots, never questioning, just performing tasks guided by our alarms and our schedules.
But, I urge you to continue.
Don’t let your critical sense deter you because nobody is listening or reading your thoughts, so BE GRATEFUL! Be thankful for everything you feel is a blessing in your life, such as: the air you breathe, the integrity of your body, the financial and material resources you have, your home (your roof), the food… And so on. The more things you can list, the more fulfilled you will feel in your existence, at peace with yourself, balanced, and you will feel an inner strength that will increase your disposition, etc.
After some time practicing, you can extend your gratitude to situations (even not-so-good ones) that allowed you to learn from them, as well as people — for the good they bring into your life simply by existing. And so on.
The reasons to be thankful are yours, as well as your list, and believe me:
IT MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE!
