The Indiana Fever are making it easier for people to watch their games this season as Caitlin Clark prepares for her first season in the WNBA.

WTHR, the NBC affiliate in Indianapolis, and the Fever announced on Wednesday that 11 new markets have been added to the broadcast distribution to create a total of 4.6 million homes that will be able to watch their games during the 2024 season.

Among the markets added are Des Moines and Davenport in Iowa, as well as Louisville and Lexington in Kentucky.

The new markets won't have access to every Fever game this season. They will broadcast 17 of the 40 games during the regular season, including their home opener against the New York Liberty on May 16.

Clark's arrival in the WNBA is helping the league build on all of the positive momentum it has had in recent years. The reigning WNBA champion Las Vegas Aces, Atlanta Dream and Dallas Aces have all sold out their season-ticket allotment.

The Aces were the first team to sell out their season tickets when they announced their allotted memberships were gone on March 7.

Resale tickets for the Fever-Chicago Sky in Chicago, which features Clark against Angel Reese, are being sold for as much as $1,700.

According to StubHub, ticket sales on the website for WNBA games have increased by 93 percent compared to 2023. The Fever have seen a "13-fold" increase in sales from last year.

Clark, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA draft, is joining the league after a historic four-year run at Iowa. She is the NCAA's all-time leading scorer in men's and women's basketball.

The Fever have added the first pick in the WNBA draft in each of the past two years. Aliyah Boston, the top pick in 2023, was named an All-Star and won Rookie of the Year in her debut season.

Clark and Boston will be tasked with turning around a Fever club that has missed the playoffs seven years running. They haven't finished over .500 since the 2015 season when they lost to the Minnesota Lynx in the WNBA Finals.

The Fever will open the regular season on May 14 against the Connecticut Sun at Mohegan Sun Arena.
