Our latest roll call of bar openings is as eclectic as any roundup we’ve run in the past.

We have a tasting room with a Japanese-themed food court, sports bars and two bars for pet lovers, including one spot that makes mocktails for your furry friend. And where did The Atlantic Crossing go? More details below.

Figurehead Stone Way

3513 Stone Way N., Seattle (Fremont); 206-254-1719, figureheadbrewingcompany.com

This Magnolia brewery expands to Fremont with a Little Tokyo-themed food court, marking one of the most ambitious tasting rooms to debut locally in recent years. The food counters include a trailer that doubles as the kitchen for Midnite Ramen. For beer noshes, there are Ooshiba Yakitori & Sushi and the Osaka Street Food counter; the latter makes gyoza, takoyaki and other Asian street bites, like Taiwanese fried chicken. You can also get a grilled cheese and other sandwiches at the beer counter. Figurehead, which brews out of its Magnolia facility, also provides a food-friendly pairing menu, including a Japanese-style rice lager and a sake bottle list.

Owner and brewer Bob Monroe started Figurehead with two other home brewers in 2016. Their beers skew toward lighter brews and Belgian-style ales, though they placate the hopheads with a couple of IPAS on the 13-draft lineup (this being Seattle, after all). All ages allowed, the tasting room can hold 70 inside and 30 more in the courtyard. Note that Figurehead has been packed on weekends, so you might want to go on a weekday or give it a few weeks until the buzz has died down.

The Atlantic Crossing

7200 Woodlawn Ave. N.E., Seattle (Green Lake); 206-729-6266, theatlanticcrossing.com

It doesn’t matter that The AC has left Roosevelt — its loyal fans have followed the pub to its fancy new digs in Green Lake. The 80-seat bar is packed with regulars who come to catch the Premier League matches on the space’s seven big TVs. A popular hangout of Arsenal and Sounders fans, the bar will open at 6 a.m. for all the big games this summer. Unlike the Roosevelt haunt, which was licensed as a bar, the Green Lake spot is all ages until 9 p.m. There’s also a late-night happy hour from 10 to 11:30 p.m. It’s a much-improved gastropub menu, with Dungeness crab rolls and a seared tuna sandwich, and classics like sausage rolls and fish and chips.

Golden Roosters

115 Occidental Ave. S., Seattle (Pioneer Square); 206-586-2035, goldenroostersbar.com

The sports bar specializes in all things related to fried chicken, but what it does best are wings that can be dressed up in a number of sauces, from Nashville spicy to Buffalo tangy. But regulars know you come here for the Korean-style double-fried soy-garlic wings. It has some of the best in the area. This 100-seat bar with seven giant TVs will soon host comedy acts and other live shows in its renovated downstairs area.

Halfseas Wine

5413 Sixth Ave. N.W., Seattle (Ballard); 206-402-5018, halfseaswine.com

This wine bar and bottle shop boasts 300 different Old and New World vinos as well as many from small producers in the Yakima and Willamette valleys. Up to 15 wine-by-the-glass options are offered in the 14-seat bar area. Owner Jen Doak, who also runs Brimmer & Heeltap bistro across the street, hopes to add more sidewalk seating in front of Halfseas in the future.

Howlin’ Bistro at BoneYard

2603 S. Jackson St., Seattle (Central District); 206-485-3085; boneyardseattle.com/bistro

BoneYard, a new doggy day care center, includes a bar for dog lovers. Located along the restaurant row on South Jackson Street, across from Reckless Noodle, Howlin’ Bistro serves dog treats and drinks, including ones with bone broth and chicken broth as bases. For two-legged customers, cocktails, wines, beers and ciders are available, along with flatbread pizzas.

The Redd Dog

10598 N.E. 10th St., Bellevue; 425-502-7026, theredddog.com

Located inside the Amazon building at the elbow of Northeast 10th Street and 106th Avenue Northeast, The Redd Dog has a patio for your dogs and even a food menu for Fido. The Redd Dog boasts a pour-your-own tap system, with 42 sodas and craft beers and also complimentary popcorn.
