Police seek suspect in armed robbery of gas station in Burlington

No one was injured.

Authorities in Burlington are searching for a man who allegedly robbed a gas station early Wednesday morning at gunpoint.

Burlington police said officers responded around 3:30 a.m. to the Mobile gas station at 173 Bedford St. for the reported armed robbery. At the scene, the store’s employees told officers that a man entered the business wearing a mask and gloves and brandished what appeared to be a semi-automatic handgun, demanding cash.

He then left the store, taking with him about $400, and was seen traveling east on Bedford Street, police said.

Officers searched the area with the assistance of a K-9 unit but could not find the man.
