RANT AND RAVE Rant to TV commercials that come on with a volume so loud it blasts your eardrums. Rave to the mute button on my remote.
RAVE to Canterbury House in Auburn, where I went to rehab after three months in the hospital. I went in unable to sit up, stand up or walk. The caregivers, therapists, staff and administration all worked hard to give me the tools I needed to get back on my feet and back home. Fellow residents encouraged me to keep working. It has been seven months, and I am up to 11 laps around my house with a walker, thanks to every person who ever reached out to help me back up.
RANT to commercials that show trucks tearing up wilderness areas as if nothing else lives there, for the juvenile amusement of people who simply don’t care about the future.
