Mizuno Wave Enforce Tour

Mizuno Wave Enforce Tour

The Mizuno Wave Enforce Tour, launched in 2023, stands out for its lightweight feel, ample cushioning, and stability. Unlike the Wave Exceed Tour series, which is better suited for narrower feet, the Enforce Tours are ideal for medium to wide feet.

Tennis Warehouse’s playtester, Tiffani, noted that while the Enforce Tours are the widest-fitting Mizuno tennis shoes she’s tried, they feel more like a medium width with a slightly roomy forefoot. Despite some length discrepancies, she found them comfortable, with good cushioning and breathability. The Enforce Tours offer substantial support, stability, and weight compared to the Wave Exceed Tour 5s and Tour Lights, fitting more true to medium width. Overall, they perform similarly to the KSwiss Ultrashot 3s, offering a nice balance of cushioning and support, particularly around the ankles.

  1. None of these shoes are shaped like actual feet. They still push the big toe inwards towards the other toes, and squash the little toes, precluding a really good grip on the ground. What people need is not shoes for “wide” feet but foot-shaped shoes. This would also significantly reduce blisters which I understand is a big problem for tennis players. I wear an Australian brand called Tarkine which are running shoes shaped like feet and designed for maximum grip and performance. And no they are not paying me to say this. https://tarkine.com/
