Rant and Rave: Reader helped up after fall

RAVE to the staff at the Eastgate Safeway for their help and kindness when I fell in the parking lot the other day. Much appreciated.

RANT to jaywalkers. The Village at Totem Lake is a wonderful development with restaurants, shopping and a movie theater. 120th Avenue Northeast runs through the middle of it and has sidewalks with flashing signs to alert drivers to stop. People tend to cross where they want, and this weekend we almost hit a group jaywalking. This road is well traveled by vehicles and is one often used to go from I-405 to EvergreenHealth Medical Center. PLEASE cross at the crosswalks and activate the flashing lights to prevent an accident! 

RAVE to the Magnolia resident who consistently picks up trash around 32nd Avenue West. They are always easy to spot with a yellow vest and litter bucket! Thank you for helping keep our neighborhood clean!
